Former SKA St. Petersburg striker Sergey Tsvetkov shared his opinion with former CSKA goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov, who was sent to military service. Tsvetkov’s words are reported by Sport Weekend.
“As for Fedotov, this is a natural nightmare! Only the creation of CSKA, one hundred percent. The guy just didn’t renew his contract. He was supposed to go to Philadelphia, but instead, he was figuratively put on a submarine. This is not normal,” Tsvetkov said.
We remind you that on July 1, it became known about the arrest of Ivan Fedotov in St. Petersburg. A hockey player is suspected of evading military service.
On July 6, it became known that 25-year-old Fedotov was transferred to the military hospital of the Ministry of Defense in Severodvinsk, due to exacerbation of gastritis due to stress. Later, the athlete was discharged from the hospital and transferred to the training department, where they created special conditions. According to media reports, the hockey player will take the oath in mid-August.
It should be noted that in May, the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL) announced the signing of a one-year contract with Fedotov.
Earlier, The Hockey News journalist Adam Proto commented on the situation with Russian hockey players Ivan Fedotov and Mikhail Vorobyov.
