Pope Francis will visit Cyprus on December 2 and 3 and then will travel to our country until December 5, according to APE-MPE information from the Vatican.
The Pontiff’s visit to Lesbos is expected to take place on December 4 and the Pontiff’s desire to return to Lesbos after his visit in 2016 is strong.
Pope Francis had been in the Moria camp, together with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the Archbishop of Athens, in the midst of the current refugee crisis. The Vatican, however, has not yet announced the official timetable for the trip.
